First off, Brendan decided he was going to quit football. I guess it wasn't for him. We were disappointed but we can't force him into something he doesn't want to do. He would complain ad cry so we didn't want to deal with it. But Kaylie is still in cheer and all for it. She is our personal little cheerleader. Can't wait for the season to really get going!
Second is...I GOT A TEACHING JOB!!! I am going to be a second grade teacher!!!! I never thought the day would come!!! So I have set up my class (sort of) and went to tons of garage sales. I am still looking for stuff for my room but I am so excited to have my own room. I am so ready to move on with this new part of my life. Scott is pretty happy for me too! I think everybody I have told is excited for me. I have waited awhile for this to happen. I guess I had to wait for the perfect one. I believe I will enjoy second grade.
Third, I have been Mod Podging a chest and some shelves for my classroom. Below are a few pictures of what I have done so far. I am going to be spray painting the holders for the shelves. I'm so excited that I know I am not speaking/writing correct English! :)
I am going to try to keep up better with this blog considering now I have something positive to write about. :)
